We recently had the pleasure of working again with Charlene Ferreira on the sale of our Hillsborough home, who also assisted with the purchase of that home in 2018. Charlene was crucial to ensuring that both the buying and selling process went as smoothly and quickly as possible.
As first-time homebuyers and homeowners, it can be daunting to navigate the housing market, particularly in a competitive area as the Bay Area. Lucky for us, Charlene was there to guide us every step of the way. For example, she not only was excellent at managing all the paperwork related to the transactions, but was able to readily answer any questions we might have and distill reams of fine print into the crux of what we needed to know. She also was a terrific liaison between us and our counterparties, helping to bridge any obstacles that arose. We also found in Charlene an excellent negotiator. She steadfastly represented our interests while retaining the trust of all sides with her impeccable honesty and transparency of approach.
Most of all, we knew that we could completely depend on Charlene to be always there for us, no matter how large or small was the matter. She would happily answer the phone at any time to talk through any questions we might have. And to give one specific example, when a few last-minute items cropped up as we were closing the sale of our house, she immediately looped in the right people to get the needed inspections and paperwork done. Charlene was the one we could count on to make things happen, and the one we could trust to fix anything that might be broken. We feel blessed to have had the chance to work with Charlene, and would love the chance to work with her again.Todd and Kezia Mostak
Yesterday our home at 1609 Easton Drive closed for the highest price ever paid for a home in the Easton Addition, $5.5M. Ed Stephens from your office represented us and we'd like to share with you our extraordinary experience working with him.
Seven years ago when we were moving to Burlingame, Ed was our buying Ed's creativity and tenacity, we were able to buy the home only by working creatively with the selling agent. For a home that is 3710ft2 on a 8300ft2 lot with 5BR and 10ft ceilings, this was an absolute coup. We could not have gotten over the finish line without Ed.
Fast forward to 2022 and we engaged Ed again to represent us as selling agent. From our first conversation with him until the home went under contract was about 45 days. He moved aggressively to ready the house and prepare a strong marketing strategy and campaign, including personal outreach to dozens of agents. Given the unique nature of our home, it was extremely important to ensure that we priced the home appropriately. Ed did a fantastic job and was able to get us where we wanted to be with a 30 day non contingent offer at the right price.
Once we went under contract, Ed and Charlene went above and beyond to make sure that all last requests from the buyers were satisfied. We could not be happier with the outcome. Throughout the process, it has been clear to us that Ed has always looked out for OUR best interests, and in certain cases, even when they ran contrary to his own. His high ethical standards and customer centricity are why we would recommend him to our friends and colleagues.Vijai and Ashley Mohan
We would highly recommend Charlene as a real estate agent for any individual or family searching for their next home. Charlene is extremely committed, responsive, and accessible at any time of the day.
We first met Charlene when we were relocating our family from San Francisco to the Peninsula around 5 years ago. During the time we rented, Charlene was always straight-forward and a ruthless executor. Repairs were always made in a timely manner and she would always follow-up to ensure both the repairs were completed and there were no further issues. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of, which made it feel like it was our very own home.
When it was time for us to purchase a house in 2022, although Charlene represented the Seller, we felt very much like she was representing us (the Buyer!). During the negotiation process, she was very professional and she was very diligent at gathering, providing, and responding to our informational requests. This enabled us to make an informed decision and move forward with the house purchase (and she was not even representing us!). On the first day we owned the house, the Sellers accidentally forgot to leave the keys for us. This wasn't an issue as Charlene immediately called a locksmith and resolved the issue. Further, the Seller also accidentally took the washer/ dryer. Charlene remedied that situation as well. Our family really appreciated Charlene’s professionalism, which enabled our family to quickly settle into our new home.
We had a very positive experience working with Charlene and are pleased to recommend her to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent a home. She is a very effective agent and we would certainly work with her again. We would be happy to discuss our experience in more detail, so please feel free to contact us.Alex and Tammy
